Welcome to issue 100

16th May 2025

We’ve reached a milestone – 100 issues! In an ever-changing and unpredictable world this is a big achievement for everyone who makes Reclaim such a joyous, useful, creative & conscious magazine.

When we launched in 2016, Reclaim was the first national magazine to spotlight sustainable homes and lifestyle, celebrate salvage and rejoice in vintage, all whilst discovering the creativity in upcycling and transforming furniture and unwanted products. Today, we re all far more aware of provenance when purchasing, and know that creating an individual home that reflects our story is something to celebrate.

And it is in the spirit of celebration that we’ve created this glorious edition, dedicated to  creating a vintage summer. Inside the issue, you’ll find homes that embrace the season’s easy rhythm—light-filled spaces layered with patina, flea market finds styled with flair, traditions and elegance, but laid-back and welcoming. There are expert tips and ideas for curating and decorating a sunny home, ready for both daydreaming ( whilst reading our exclusive short story and poem) and throwing a party.

And because this is a landmark issue, we revisit some of the makers and dealers who’ve inspired us, and put together our Top 100 of vintage and upcycled products and sources. The enduring heroes; if you will.

We hope you enjoy this extra special issue, with 65 extra pages it’s a bumper edition to keep forever.
