I adore these vintage ballet shoes which have been dyed and embellished with an antique gold trim. They look so beautiful displayed simply on a mantelpiece or hanging on the corner of a chippy cupboard.

Old paintbrushes

I have a bit of a thing for timeworn decorator’s paintbrushes, encrusted with old paint or covered in splatters. They look so great displayed simply, or even en masse. Beautiful chippy old paint kettles are also worth keeping an eye out for.
