The School of Stuff in east London offers various courses relating to furniture, with core subjects focusing on upholstery, cabinetmaking and restoration. All ability levels are catered for, from beginner or hobbyist to advanced for those looking for a career change, and range from one-day workshops to one-year courses.
Occasional weekend workshops and five-day intensive courses offer other furniture craft techniques, such as gilding, carving, seat rushing, lacquerwork and japanning.
